Wrzesień/September 2015 – Rozstrzygnięcie jesiennej XI edycji „European Quarterly Kukai”

Początek jesieni to okres, gdy znaczna grupa autorów jest na wakacjach. Mimo to w 11. edycji konkursu wzięło udział 158 osób z 37 krajów. Temat – jedzenie – nie był łatwy. Ale większość uczestników wysłało dobre, a nawet świetne haiku. Haiku z trzech pierwszych miejsc były w czołówce od początku głosowania. Pierwsze miejsce wywalczył Simon Hanson z Australii:

       połów sardynek                                             sardine catch
      światło księżyca migoce                              the flicker of moonlight
      na piasku                                                        on the sand

 

Drugie miejsce zajęła Marion Clarke z Irlandii Północnej:

                                           snow storm…
                                           my daughter bakes
                                           her first cake

 Trzecie miejsce zajął debiutant w naszym konkursie Vandana Parashar z Indii:

                                          biscuit crumbs…
                                          frail fingers picking up
                                         the memories
 

Z Polski uczestniczyło 9 autorów, którzy przesłali swoje haiku. Najlepszy wynik osiągnął Zbigniew Mysłowiecki z Warszawy.

The beginning of autumn is the period when a significant group of authors is on holiday. Despite this in 11th edition of the competition participated 158 people from 37 countries. Topic – food – is not easy. But most participants have sent good and even brilliant haiku. Haiku of the first three places were at the forefront from the beginning of the vote. First place was won by Simon Hanson of Australia:

                                            sardine catch
                                            the flicker of moonlight
                                            on the sand

Second place went to Marion Clarke from Northern Ireland:

                                           snow storm…
                                           my daughter bakes
                                           her first cake

Third place went to debutante in our competition Vandana Parashar from India:

                                          biscuit crumbs…
                                          frail fingers picking up
                                         the memories

Nine authors from Poland sent haiku. The best result achieved Zbigniew Mysłowiecki.
